An estimate cannot replace a recorded birth time. Review the reasoning before using it for further charts.

Before you start: check for a recorded birth time
Check available records first. Try your birth certificate, hospital records, baby book, or a family member who was there. What is recorded and how long records are kept varies by place.
If you find a reliable time, use the free chart engine. If you only know a rough window, include that in your notes.
When records are missing or memories differ
You can use dated life events to compare possible birth hours. If you are helping someone else, get their permission and use only the details needed for the reading. More notes can provide context; they do not guarantee a more accurate estimate.
What the comparison can tell you
The report explains how candidate hours fit the events you supplied within the selected traditions. Agreement between systems is a reason to review an estimate, not independent proof of your birth time.

Compare the same life events across several traditions

The report looks for patterns between candidate charts and the events you provide.

Review the reasoning and its limits. This is an interpretive estimate, not a medical test or a verified record of birth.

How we work out your birth hour

The report combines calculated charts with the context you provide.

① Compare candidate hours
Your birth date sets the starting point for charts across 12 possible hours.
② Add life context
Share dated changes in relationships, work, or home life that you are comfortable including.
③ Review longer cycles
Compare the traditional cycle interpretations with the periods you described.
④ Review specific years
Look at the candidate charts alongside individual dated events.
⑤ Compare time-sensitive details
Birthplace and candidate time affect the rising sign and houses.
⑥ Read the estimate
Review the suggested hours, the explanation, and any uncertainty before using the result.
What to look for in your report
Reasoning you can review

Charts calculated by the engine
The written interpretation uses calculated chart data.
Different traditions, different assumptions
Comparing them can add perspective. Their agreement does not establish statistical accuracy.
Keep the time labelled as estimated
If you later find a reliable record, update your charts with that time.
Built for the person whose birth time is missing
If the available clues are limited, the estimate may remain uncertain. You can add context and review the comparison again. Keep any reliable birth record as your primary reference.

Birth time rectification: your questions
Can I use this without a birth time?

Yes. You can calculate date-based charts for free. The optional paid rectification compares candidate hours with dated life events and provides an estimate with an explanation.

Why does birth time matter?

Changing the time can change the rising sign, houses, and other time-sensitive chart details. If your time is uncertain, treat those details as uncertain too.

How does birth time rectification work?

It compares possible birth hours with the life events you provide, using the available chart traditions. The report explains a suggested hour or window. This does not prove when you were born.

What should I prepare?

Have your birth date, birthplace, any known time window, and at least three major events with dates. Keep descriptions brief and leave out details you do not want included in the report.

My birth record has no time. What can I do?

Check any available hospital record, baby book, or family recollection. Record formats and retention vary. If no reliable time is available, you can explore an estimate while keeping it clearly labelled as such.

Can I help a parent use this?

Yes, with their permission. Use details they are comfortable sharing and review the report together. A longer life history does not guarantee a more accurate estimate.

Is the suggested hour certain?

No. It is an interpretive estimate based on your inputs and the selected traditions. Compare the reasoning with your records and keep any uncertainty visible when using the time for other charts.

How much does it cost?

The chart engine is free. Full birth time rectification costs NT$3,600 as a one-time purchase, with recomputation using additional clues included. Review the product and checkout details before paying.

✦ Write down the life you remember — right here

No categories, no format. Write whatever comes to mind, one event per line. Dates and brief context help you review the comparison.

Must-haves (the engine cannot converge without these) At least 3 dated major events.
e.g. marriage, a child’s birth, surgery or hospitalisation, a big move or emigration, a career change or business launch, job loss, a serious accident, losing a loved one, a major financial win or loss.
Even better if you add (bonus clues) Your occupation and skills, how people usually describe you, physical traits (looking young for your age, height, a visible scar or birthmark), your parents’ marriage, your birth order among siblings.
A classical Tie Ban method works the birth moment backwards from family members’ real zodiac signs. Fill it in if you know; leave blank if not — it never changes the core computation.

Dated events help you compare the candidate hours.
